Q & A Skype Sessions!

Two Q & A Skype Sessions with Media Arts alumni are open to SVAD students to join in on:

Thursday, April 18, 1:30 - 2:30 pm, Gambrell 001: Ashley Poston will do a q and a skype session!  She took Media Arts TV writing and then a summer internship at Random House arranged by Prof. Davis, and then wrote and published several books, including the highly rated Heart of Iron.  She has now finished its sequel Soul of Stars which comes out in July 2019 from HarperCollins Publishers.  A former writer on theWemakemanga.com website) who previously was named Marketing Designer for Bloomsbury Publishing-- she is now represented by Holly Root of Waxman Leavell Literary Agency. Thursday April 18: 3:00 - 4:00 pm, Gambrell 001: Bring your questions for graduated Media Arts major and SC Honors College graduate Gregory Goetz, who took Professor Davis’s and Riley’s classes and previously was hired to co-write two episodes of the ABC TV/Shondaland series The Catch. The most recent episode Greg wrote aired during prime time on ABC. Greg previously was script coordinator for The Catch and another show Salem. Before recently moving onto Scandal, he was working on Salvation. Arrive with questions at 2:50 PM.
