Women's Voices in Clay

Artists Olga Yukhno and Virginia Scotchie curated and installed the exhibition, which focuses on current work made by eight ceramic artists in South Carolina.

The work in the exhibition presents a survey of the artistic scope and creative investigation of working within the ceramic field.  Artists are at various stages of their careers, from recently graduated ceramic artists from SVAD, artists with long-time careers in South Carolina, to those that teach and practice their creative research at UofSC. Work in the exhibition ranges from figurative, functional, and sculptural pieces.
